One cell Li-ion/Li-polymer battery protection IC

MM3722 series are Li-ion rechargeable battery protection IC and detect charge current / discharge current with high precision by using a current detection resistor (Rsns). Conventional Li-ion battery packs use the ON resistance of the FET SW, which has a large variation, as the overcurrent/short-circuit detection resistance.

MM3722 realize over-current/short-current protection with high accuracy and with no temperature dependence by using an external chip resistor.
