MM3721 series are Li-ion rechargeable battery protection IC and detect charge current/discharge current with high precision by using a current sensing resistor (Rsns). MM3721 has a two-stage discharge overcurrent detection function and can protect the system appropriately in both normal discharge and high-current discharge states.
