MinebeaMitsumi's linear regulators (LDOs) features products that take advantage of the strengths of both CMOS and bipolar processes : they support output currents from 100 mA to 1.5 A and offer additional functions such as soft start, reverse current protection and auto discharge, as well as output current detection, temperature sensor output and other special functions are available. MinebeaMitsumi MM3479 is a 1A LDO with soft-start. The soft-start can reduce a rush current by the CS capacitor on start-up. SOT89-5A package allows high heat dissipation and space saving.
