MinebeaMitsumi's linear regulators (LDOs) features products that take advantage of the strengths of both CMOS and bipolar processes : they support output currents from 100 mA to 1.5 A and offer additional functions such as soft start, reverse current protection and auto discharge, as well as output current detection, temperature sensor output and other special functions are available. MinebeaMitsumi MM1998 is a bipolar process negative power supply 200mA LDO with fast start-up function. The low-noise design makes it suitable for targeting the negative power supply of high-sensitivity CMOS image sensors. Output voltage line-up ranges from -5.0 V to -1.1 V (in 0.1 V steps) to meet the specifications of image sensors. Packages can be selected from SOT-25 or SSON-6A to suit low cost or small space of PCB.
